Families can spend time relaxing at the Westmoreland Sanctuary, a nature preserve, and kids can enjoy rides and games at Rockin’ Jump amusement park. Average household earnings are $90,000 per year, and the area is home to equestrian farms, Colonials, Victorians, and estates with vast acreage, many of which were beautifully constructed in the late 1800s. Mount Kisco is the site of the historically rich Washington-Rochambeau Route, a road on which the French Army marched during the Revolutionary War when aiding American forces.

Parents can send their children to Mount Kisco Elementary School, and the Karafin School is a private academy students grades 9-12 can attend. Seven Bridges Middle School is ranked 10 out 10 possible points on the Great Schools website. 82% of area residents have a high school diploma or equivalent, and 40% are college graduates.
